Scarlet Hunt Changes
Inspiration
Previously, players could receive one Chaplain's Standard per day, which provided a 2× bonus to Scarlet Hunt points (up to 1,200 points). While this mechanic was interesting, it wasn't convenient to use.
We've improved the system and named it “Inspiration Points.”
If you have Inspiration Points, you'll earn bonus Scarlet Hunt points when killing enemies and collecting resources. These bonus points are consumed from your Inspiration pool.
New accumulation system:
- No need to claim the Chaplain's Standard every day.
- You are automatically granted 1,000 Inspiration Points every 4 hours (6,000 daily).
- Maximum cap: 20,000 points (~3 days to fill).
- The Scarlet Hunt points multiplier has increased from ×2 to ×10.
Example:
- Without Inspiration Points, killing Damned grants 10 Scarlet Hunt points.
- With Inspiration Points, the same kill grants 100 points, and 90 Inspiration Points are consumed.
Chaplain's and Templar's Standards:
These items remain available in the store, but they've been reworked too.
- Their point value is greatly increased, and they now also apply the ×10 multiplier to Scarlet Hunt points.
- If you get multiple Standards, you can activate them all at once—the points will combine automatically. Note that all unused Inspiration Points will expire when the Scarlet Hunt ends.
- The daily Inspiration bonus and the Standards' bonuses are calculated separately. Daily points will be used first, and once they are depleted, the Standards' points will begin to apply.
Emperor's Letters:
Emperor's Letters have been removed from the store and discontinued. They are no longer necessary due to the ×10 boosted Inspiration bonus. The Standards now fully cover the bonus functionality.
Tasks
Daily Tasks
- A new system is here: daily tasks no longer reset each day, but remain available until the Scarlet Hunt ends.
- Tasks accumulate from day 1, even if you don't log in. You can always catch up on missed days.
- The reward system is now simplified: chests for tasks are no longer divided by week—valuable rewards are now easier to access.
Example: Missed 3 days? Return and you'll find all 12 tasks waiting!
Weekly Tasks
Weekly tasks have been removed from the Scarlet Hunt, but the points they granted are now compensated through the Inspiration system. Don't worry—you'll still have challenging tasks, thanks to the new trials Sir Rihardt offers!
Veteran's Trials
Some Exiles felt the Scarlet Hunt lacked tough missions, while others found them too demanding. Our goal is to find the right balance—providing a true test of skill while still ensuring the Scarlet Hunt remains accessible for players of all levels.
Veteran's Trials are tasks given by Sir Rihardt, a battle-hardened veteran. He offers up to 10 particularly difficult tasks with unique rewards.
- All tasks are available immediately, and you can complete them in any order.
- These tasks have their own progress tracker and reward pool.
- If you're short on time but want to receive all the rewards, you can spend Thalers to instantly complete tasks.
Changes to Activity Access
Keys
Previously, players could complete all three difficulties of an event daily. Now, access is managed through keys.
How keys work:
- They're not items. They appear on the location entrance screen.
- 1 key = 1 activity run of any difficulty.
- At the start of the event, you get 3 keys.
- Replenishment: +1 key per day, at 00:00 UTC (max = 3).
Location rules:
- After activation with a key, the location is open for 4 hours.
- You can refresh it early by spending a key and either:
— Watching an ad (with a daily limit).
— Or spending Thalers.
System flexibility:
You can wait 3 days and then do 3 runs in a row (e.g., on Legendary difficulty).
Return of the Cradle of Corruption
The infection wasn't fully wiped out. Some evil must be burned away completely, or else it returns.
Test your resilience and repel the corruption!
- Corruption Samples now stack up to 500 per slot.
- The Alchemist at the dungeon entrance will now accept Corruption Samples in exchange for rewards.
Interface Changes
Quick Access Tabs Split
Over time, Exiles have gained access to more and more sections, and they no longer fit neatly into the interface. So we've decided to split the quick-access panel into two tabs:
First tab:
- Inventory
- Designs
- Skills
- Direwolves
- Cats
- Horse
- Wagon
Second tab:
- Lore/Scrolls
- Veteran's Trials
- Gods
When you open any section from the combat interface, the game automatically selects a tab.
Additional Update
The wagon inventory is now accessible directly from the world map.
