You can find a horse in the Broken Cart event. To tame a horse, sneak up on it in stealth mode and press the interaction button. If you have finished your stable, the horse is ready to embark on a journey at once after you successfully tame it. If you have not built the stable yet, until you complete assembling it, you cannot tame a horse.
